Original post 2 November: It’s a regular November event now, and Adeje’s annual Degusta.me starts tomorrow, Saturday 3 November, and will run until Friday 30 November, a whole month for everyone to enjoy some traditional foods and wines, savouring all the local tastes, aromas and sights in a range of demonstrations, presentations, markets, workshops, tapas offers, food trucks, a visit to the world-champion Montesdeoca dairy, and much more in a full programme. The diary of events is detailed HERE and there are downloadable programme-specific links including one in English HERE (if you have problems with the links, just remove the “s” from the “https” in the URL window – it’s a problem with the security certificate for the council’s website).
In the tapas route, the public will be able as usual to vote for the best tapa from the 20 or so local retaurants and bars taking part, and this year one of the prizes in the draw from those who voted will be a 7-day cruise! Also extremely popular will be the 8-hour food festival with food and wine tastings, live performances and music, in the town’s Calle Grande and the Plaza de España on Saturday 24th. The council reminds members of the public who are interested in taking part in any of the courses and workshops that require prior registration to sign up early as places are limited.
